SMART START

August 20, 2004

AUGUST 20, 2004 Representatives from Smart Start Georgia, Heart of Georgia United Way, and community leaders were on hand at Dublin City Hall Thursday to recognize the impact of quality early child care. Art work created by over 150 area children was unveiled at the steps of City Hall. Their paper doll creations represent each child up to age 5 influenced by early learning and demonstrate the impact of Smart Start Georgia on Laurens County?s youngest residents as a part of the organization?s statewide Link to Learning activity. Smart Start Georgia is a public/private partnership that aims to create and implement programs and outreach initiatives for improving early child care for all children statewide.
